Kojic Soap

This handmade, vegan, cold processed, paraben, chemical and animal fat free soap is created in small batches to ensure high quality and freshness.

Kojic acid soap is used to lighten skin and dark spots, known as hyperpigmentation. Its ability to disrupt the melanin production pathway itself makes it an effective treatment for the darkness of the skin. It also helps to heal skin lesions, balance dry skin, fight skin inflammations and eczema / psoriasis.

The soap will not deeply exfoliate your skin like other kinds of acids, it will gently lift away dead skin cells, dirt, and oil from the skin. It will also tighten your pores over time.

Kojic acid is also thought to have some antifungal benefits. It may be helpful in preventing and treating certain fungal infections, such as athlete’s foot and yeast infections and melasma.

 Kojic acid also acts as an antioxidant. It fights free radicals in the skin which damage skin cells and cause wrinkles and fine lines to develop more quickly. Over time, it helps to keep the skin cells healthier for longer.

This soap is hand cut to an average bar weight of 4.3 oz.
